FR Pipe Wrap 110mm

Designed to maintain the fire resistance of fire rated walls and floors when these are breached by plastic pipes or metal pipes with combustible insulation. May be used in plasterboard, masonry or concrete. Protecta Pipe Wrap consists of a plastic wrapped graphite based intumescent material that reacts with heat to fill the cavities resulting from the melting plastic pipe or pipe insulation in the event of a fire. It may be used for all plastic pipes (PVC, PP, PE ABS and Alupex), bundles of plastic pipes with or without cables as well as cable bundles. The Pipe Wrap is cast into the wall or the floor by fixing it round the through-penetration with the attached sticker. It may also be fitted in our FR Board, finishing with FR Acrylic sealant as required. Tested to EN1366 and classified as Type X under EOTA TR 024 as suitable for use in conditions exposed to weathering.
