Non self-priming, automatic centrifugal pump for the pressure boosting of water from water tanks inside residential buildings (in the inlet and suction mode).
PB-…A are non self-priming, automatic centrifugal pumps for the pressure boosting of break tanks installed on roofs to lower levels (in the inlet mode).
Automatic activation and deactivation takes place thanks to a built-in flow switch. When the tap is open the water flows from the water tank, which is installed on the roof and produces a volume flow in the pump.
This volume flow switches on the PB-…A via the flow switch. When the tap is closed the PB-…A switches off due to a lack of volume flow.
The series PB-…A comprises a version with hydraulics housing made of plastic, the PB-S…A.
PB-…S…A are non self-priming, automatic centrifugal pumps for the pressure boosting of the break tank on the ground floor to the upper floors (suction mode). Automation takes place thanks to built-in pressure and flow switches.
When the tap is open a pressure drop occurs in the upper floors due to the water requirement. Once the minimum pressure is reached the pressure switch starts the pump (and as a result the flow switch) automatically.
Once the maximum pressure is reached (e.g. whereby the required volume flow is reduced), the pressure switch stops, the pump continues to run however thanks to the volume flow sensor.
If no more water is required the flow switch stops first and then the pump. The flow switch protects the PB series against dry run.
